1inch Network

The 1inch Network is expanding to Polygon (formerly Matic Network) - an interoperability and scalability framework for building and connecting Ethereum-compatible blockchain networks. Polygon is a promising a Layer 2 solution on Ethereum centered around the <a href="https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/polygon" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">MATIC</a> utility token, which is used for governance, staking, and gas fees.

By utilising different technological solutions - POS (Proof-of-Stake) Chain, Plasma Chain, ZK-rollups, Optimistic rollups - Polygon combines the best of all worlds and brings its users higher throughout and cheaper gas frees. 

First you have to set up your MetaMask on Polygon. Please, find a comprehensive guide on how to do that <a href="https://docs.polygon.technology/docs/develop/network-details/network/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">here</a>.

After that you are good to start exploring 1inch on the Polygon Network. 

go to <a href="https://app.1inch.io/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://app.1inch.io/</a>;

switch “Ethereum Mainnet”/ "Smart Chain" to “Matic Mainnnet" in your MetaMask;

- go to <a href="https://app.1inch.io/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://app.1inch.io/</a>; 
- switch “Ethereum Mainnet”/ "Smart Chain" to “Matic Mainnnet" in your MetaMask;

There are two ways to switch between chains on 1inch.

1. Click on the “Ethereum”/ "Binance" button on top and switch it to “Polygon”.

2. Click on the “Connect Wallet” button in the upper right corner and select “Matic Mannet” in the “Choose Network” window, then complete the connection by accepting the Terms of Service and selecting the MetaMask option.

The network indicator will switch to “Polygon Mainnet”, meaning you’re all set to start using 1inch on Polygon.
