Keeping the display on (while the wallet is open) is a helpful feature, and allows users to better monitor transactions.

To turn “Keep Display On”, tap the “Settings” button on the main wallet screen.

Next, tap “Appearance”.

Then tap the "Keep Display On" button. This will prevent your device from falling asleep as long as the 1inch Wallet is open.
