Introduction

The built-in Web3 browser in 1inch Wallet gives you direct access to decentralized applications (dApps) without leaving the wallet. You can connect your wallet automatically, sign transactions securely, and switch between wallets or networks in just a few taps.

To open the Web3 browser, tap the compass icon in the bottom menu of 1inch Wallet.

Key features

The Web3 browser in 1inch Wallet is designed to make interacting with dApps simple and secure. Its main features include:

  • Automatic wallet connection—your wallet connects to dApps right away, no extra steps needed.

  • Transaction signing inside the wallet—sign transactions directly in 1inch Wallet without switching back and forth between apps or browsers.

  • Quick wallet and network switching—easily choose another wallet or blockchain network while browsing.

  • Scam protection—the browser automatically checks domains and transactions for potential scams.

Main use cases

Use case 1: How to access dApps

You can open any dApp directly in the Web3 browser. There are three ways to do this:

Once the dApp opens, your wallet connects automatically, so you can start interacting right away. If you need to switch to another wallet or network, you can do it instantly without leaving the browser:

  • To change the network, tap the network selector in the middle of the top menu and choose the one you need.

  • To change the wallet, tap the wallet selector in the top-right corner and select the wallet you want. All wallets created or imported into 1inch Wallet will appear in the list.

Scam protection works during browsing as well. If you try to open a known scam site, the wallet will warn you before you proceed.

Use case 2: Signing transactions in dApps

When you interact with a dApp through the Web3 browser, you can sign transactions directly in 1inch Wallet. This means you don’t need to switch back and forth between an external browser and the wallet app.

Before confirming, the wallet will show all transaction details, allowing you to review the amounts, addresses, and network fees. If the domain or transaction poses any risk, the wallet will alert you with a scam warning right in the transaction screen. You can review the warning by tapping Show. If you're still sure that you want to proceed with the transaction, do one of the following:

  • For moderate threats (yellow warning), tap Confirm anyway.

  • For severe threats (red warning), long-tap Hold to proceed.
